Well it's been a crazy busy summer. The last month just flew by. The kids started school a couple of weeks ago. Toby is in the fourth grade now, and Carlee started middle school. She's really excited. So far so good. She's joined the bad and is now playing flute. She plans on running for student council next week. And there's three afterschool clubs she's interested in: Bowling, Science Olympiad and Oddessy of the Mind.

Toby has a wonderful teacher and he seems to be adjusting well to the fourth grade. They learn to play the recorder this year. Last night was the Cub Scout roundup. There was a great turnout to register boys. We walked to Bowen for that, and then onto Valleywood for thier open house. It was nice but hot and we didn't get home till after 9. I thought the walk was a great idea, but I don't think the kids did.

That's about it. Not too much exciting in the fourth grade.
