April was sworn into the Air Force today. I am so excited for her, and so proud of her. The start of a new adventure.

April did not come home last night. I feel she manipulated the situation to make me angry enough to throw her out...which I did. We agreed it was time she was on her own. She wants to be an adult and to do her own thing, and now is the time. She has lost all respect for me and I can't live like that. She is angry at me all the time because she has chores and rules. And I'm angry all the time because she has no motivation and no respect.
She has been so depressed and frustrated because of the Air Force and I feel very badly for her, but I can't fix things, not this time. I pray for her and hope she will make the right decisions in her life. She's a wonderful girl and I love her tremendously.
Letting go is never easy.

I went back to work today. Working two half days this week and three half days next week. I don't want to over do it and mess up my surgery. Everyone was glad to see me. It's just not the same without Terri there though. :-( I feel really bad that she lost her job.
Tonight is church. Don is suppose to come and pick us up, but he hasn't gone to church in weeks, so I'll be really surprised if he comes through. I miss going though, so I hope he does. I'm not suppose to be driving. I had to drive to work, but I promised myself I'd ONLY drive to and from work...that's it. So I'm sticking to that.
Randy started Jury Duty yesterday. He seems emotionally drained last night. It was cold and blowing snow, so we decided not to grill out for dinner and went to Culvers instead. Yum Yum. The kids finally cashed in some of their tokens for prizes. After dinner, we all played a great game of Age of Empires the Conquerors! What fun. Randy won. He built a wonder that we just couldn't get to. Carlee did pretty good for only her second game.
