My friend Scott just told me his friend Shaun has a staph infection. Pray for Shaun to get well fast. He's in a wheelchair, and sometimes these staph infections can be really dangerous when you have a compromised ammune system. Hope he's up and playing tennis again soon. Scott plays wheelchair tennis every week. He also plays water volleyball all the time. That's so cool. I hope I get a chance to go watch him sometime. Well anyone reading this, say a prayer for Shaun for quick healing. Thanks.

Randy Moss is Coming to the RAIDERS!

Went to Randy's house inspection yesterday. The guys were late and the current owner didn't even know about the inspection, so it didn't start off well. But it went pretty good. He's much more content that with the last house. So that's a good thing. Then Randy and I and Shane went to the Dungeon for dinner. They have such good mexican food. After that I was off again, to see Dierks Bently and George Strait in concert. Awesome show. Great evening. I was exhausted when I got home though. Long day for someone who is suppose to be home recouperating from surgery. I'm doing good though.

FIRST KISS

Toby got his first kiss today. I was Khalen Miller, a little girl on Carlee's bowling team. He was so excited. She said she bowled badly this morning thinking about this kissing thing, but Toby said he bowled very good. Then after bowling it happened. Toby says he feels good! LOL So cute. Oh to be 9 again.

It's snowing again. Damn I'm sick of this weather. I want to go south. When is winter going to be over.

Went house hunting with Randy tonight. Looked at 4 houses. Randy put a bid on one. There were six showingz]s at that house, and the realtor thinks at least 5 will bid on it. What a house. I hope he gets it!

Tomorrow is my followup appointment with my neurosurgeon. I hope things go well.

This looks like a cool Blog. I'm looking forward to see what Matt has to say.
The TechTV Farker: TechTV is dead... welcome to my new blog :(

Today April took Mike and I to BD's for lunch, that was fun. We went to SAMs to get groceries, then to Millbrook so April could buy a belt. In doing so, she also found a great pair of cowboy boots. However, after she went to work, I noticed the boots looks quiet large, even for April...well guess what...one is an 8.5 and the other is an 11.5. Too Funny!

I also got my fax on my computer working. Yeah! April's blood work is back so I will go pick that up tomorrow and fax it for her.

Randy and I did a drive by on a house too, but he didn't like the location. Oh well. There will be more.

Happy Valentines Day

Mike took April and I out to lunch today for Valentines day. He's such a sweet kid. We also took April to get her blood work for the Surgeon General. Hopefully the last of it. She'll know soon. Tonight, Randy and I are doing a drive by in Jenison and then he's making dinner for us, his famous Oriental Porkchops! YUM. Been a great day so far.

Well mom left today. :-( She's been such a wonderful help. I don't know how I could have done it without her. She flew in the day of my surgery, and has been here 9 days. I still have a long recovery, and I'm nervous about doing it on my own, but she gave me a great head start.

Went and drove by 5 houses with Randy today. He's got one that he's really interested in. Close by too! I can't wait to see it.

April went to see HITCH tonight. Can't wait to hear what she thought about it.

I am so discouraged. I was woke up by a phone call this morning from a good friend at work, a co-worker of ours was let go yesterday. Rob was our Network Director and the only person in the IT department that believed in my and my tech skills. Now he's gone. :-(

Well I had a job with him last month, and then I was reassigned back to my old position due to budget cuts, so I guess it's just as well. I could have been on the chopping block too.

Well I think recovery is going to be slower than I thought. :-( But thought I was stronger than I am. Guess I really will have to take it easy for a while.

Mom is still here taking care of me. That's been wonderful. Kids are really enjoying her visit too. Yesterday her and I and April went to the movies. What fun. Today I went to the bank and got the dog licensed. Trying to to be out for too long, but a little at a time isn't too bad. Need to make sure any tasks I have to do, get done before she leaves on Saturday. After that I'm home bound.

Valentines day is coming up this weekend too. Time flies. Going to be a busy year.

SUPERBOWL SUNDAY! GO PATRIOTS!!!

Saturday, February 05, 2005

Well I'm recovering from my surgery. In more pain than I expected but less than I was in before the surgery. So I guess that's a good thing. Kids just got home from church. April and Mike are downstairs playing pool, Carlee and Toby are in bed, Mom is on her laptop. Randy just called, and he's heading home from his company Christmas party. He's going to visit the grandkids tomorrow and then heading this way to watch the game. Go Patriots!! Think I'm about done for the day. Good Night all.

Going in for surgery on my neck tomorrow. I'm very nervous, but in so much pain I can't stand it, so it can only get better. Randy is here and he's taking me to the hospital in the morning. Mom is flying in at 4 in the afternoon. I'm so blessed they're here to help. I'll get back online when I can.
