The Life of Rily

Well as you can see, I haven't quite got the habit of blogging every day. But I'm working on it.

We made it through spring break. I took two days off from work to spend with the kids, and they abandoned me. Went to the grandparents house. So I got some cleaning done and had some quiet time. Not all bad.

April turned 18 on the fourth. No shattering revelations there. But she did cut off her long blond hair and dyed it blue. Wanted to shock her grandmother.

This week at work has been busy. I'm actually off today. 4th grade field trip to go bowling. Should be fun. Last night was a mother-daughter tea at GEMS. That's one of the christian youth groups my 10 year old attends. It was a nice gathering. Sunday morning she'll be singing in church. Didn't find that out till last night. I like our church because we go on Saturday evenings. This way, I can sleep-in in the morning on Sunday. Well, not this week! Oh well. I can manage this once I suppose.

Well, I'm off to bowl. Have fun blogging!

Well, I haven't been on in two weeks. Just been a busy time. Both of my younger children have been sick this week, so I've had to miss two days of work. :-( So not good. AND, the kids had half days this week and my oldest did not, so that meant, no sitter. But I was lucky enough to have a friend offer to watch them. (Thanks Jeff) Unfortunately, he got in an accident with his semi-truck on Tuesday and didn't make it back from Detroit in time, so another day off. Been a rough week.

Last night Randy and I took April to Carrabas Italian restaurant for her birthday dinner. It was wonderful. I have to go shopping today. I don't procrastinate too much, do I? LOL She will be 18 on Sunday. Boy do I feel old.

Next week is spring break. Seems everytime I try and make plans, they get changed. So I don't have a clue what we're doing yet. We'll see.

Today, I think the sun is going to shine! I'm doing to do some major Spring Cleaning and get an oil change on my truck. Happy Saturday.
